Simple application and reduced labor

 COCOMFORT ™ APPLICATION:

For Stall:

For the first application we recommend 3 or 4 bales of COCOMFORT ™ in order to be able to cover the complete surface of a standard box although each stableman will have different practices for each horse. (Aprox. one bale for each square meter of stable). Some might like more padded bedding and may use more and some might use less. The number of bales also will depend on the size of the stall, climate, horse habits and your personal experience with your horse.

For Big Bales cover the complete surface and follow the above recommendation.

Locate the bedded area where the horse prefers to stay.

Empty the content of the bales inside the box and, with the help of a fork,  distribute the product equally, making sure to break up any small compact masses that formed inside the bale. Make sure to fluff up the bedding thus giving greater volume to the COCOMFORT ™.

COCOMFORT ™ MAINTENANCE:

For Stall:

In the daily cleaning of the stall we recommend changing the product little by little, removing the solid parts only and in ventilating the wet part by turning with a fork, in order to dry it and regenerate the coconut fiber.

In a period of few weeks up to two month one new bale would have been used per square meter and replace it depending on the conditions of the product.

After use, COCOMFORT can be disposed of with recyclable and organic materials.

Alternatively,

  • it may be added to your compost pile or recycled into your garden as a precious soil amendment and fertilizer

The natural addition of nitrogen from your animal's waste provides the best fertilizer for your plants.

  • Mix it through soils to provide an ideal by-product or put it on the top of your compost pile to speed up the composting process.

  • If you want better water retention spread a thin layer over your garden and will also naturally deter weeds with the benefit of Organic product COCOMFORT ™

COCOMFORT ™

APPLICATION & MANITENANCE:

Pour  in a suitable litter tray or cage  a 1-2” (3-5 cm) layer of COCOMFORT on the tray (up to 4” or 10 cm when used housing.

Scoop out the solid waste every day. You “do not” scoop out the parts that are just peed on, it is not clumping litter. Just leave it alone and put some fresh on top.

Every couple days add just a layer of fresh COCOMFORT to the box.

After a few more days you toss it all and start fresh.

Note: you can use little liners in the boxes and will makes it much faster to switch out an entire box of litter and much cleaner.  At the end of the week (7 to 10 days), or when necessary remove the litter liner and all used litter. Alwyas wear rubber gloves when handling used litter.

Always close bag before storing in a cool and dry place. Product must be out of the bag damp, and is normal to smell and looks as dirt. You might not expect from litter to be damp but is very important to remain damp to be able to soak up cat pee and controlling odor.

ODOR CONTROL. Every poop odor is totally absorbed.

After use, COCOMFORT can be disposed of with recyclable and organic materials.
